I am sitting here with my family and I wanted to make a list of ten things I love about Christmas. There in no particular order.
10.) Eating lots of AWESOME food that my mom and grandmom make
9.) Eating endless amounts of my granddads peanut brittle. (he has his own recipe and we will not let anyone know what it is...its better than any other!)
8.) Going to see Christmas lights on houses!
7.) Drinking Hot Cocoa and watching old Christmas movies
6.) Playing cards and dominoes with my family. Also Mad Gab is a blast! You should try it!
5.) Christmas eve services where kids sing....especially todlers. It is precious but hilarious at the same time.
4.) Reading the Christmas story outloud with my family. (Read the first 5 chapters of Luke for the full story!)
3.) Taking an angel off the tree at walmart and helping a family have Christmas that would have had Christmas
2.) Wrapping Gifts!! And Making people's gifts.
1.) Celebrating the birth of my Savior Jesus Christ!
I hope you all have a Merry Christmas!!! Keep Checking the blog....I will put more on soon!

Really Creative ornaments!
Sorry that it is Saturday and I am blogging a day late, but I had a crazy day getting ready to go home for Christmas!! I am home! So, I am blogging! I found this fun ornament idea and I thought I would share it with you! Did you know that in the 1800s kids would get oranges in their stockings! That was such a treat because they didn't get them year round. They were too expensive. The would wake up christmas morning and there would be oranges in their stocking. For a few years my mom would carry on that tradition. Here is another way to carry on that tradition...make them ornaments! Here is a picture of the finished product but click on "Orange Christmas Ornaments" below and it will send you to a website on "how to" to get a "how to" This could be a fun Mom daughter activity since you are out of school!

K-1 K-Life 2009 Dare To Dream Skits Part 1
Hello all my friends at K-1! I am starting to blog again. I know last year I wasn't consistant with it, but I am back and I plan on blogging every Tuesday and Friday!!! Hopefully it will all be fun stuff. My goal in this blog is to give you a little bit of kamp on Tuesday and Friday. It could be something about what we did last summer. It could be about things that we might do next summer. Sometimes I will post a poll and I will need your ideas. It could also be some fun things for you to do at home with your parents and friends. I will sometimes post a devotional for your day. TODAY I am excited to post one of the K-Life skits we did this summer. Yes, these are the videos that you laughed at so hard! I have all of them and will post them in the next few weeks! So grab your parents and friends and sit by the computer and enjoy a funny reminder from K-1! This summer the theme was dare to dream. We saw the adventures of our dream kids. Larry (4 years old), Carrie (3 years old) and Merriman (2 years old) and their adventures in their dreams of saving each other and sometimes saving Kanakuk.
